SHANG - HI CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lb. hamburg 1 c. chopped onions 1 clove minced garlic 1 tbsp. oil 2 c. diced celery 1 can mushroom soup 1/3 c. milk 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables 2 c. cooked rice (1 c. raw) 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 can chow mein noodles Brown meat, onions and garlic in oil. Add celery, soup, milk and vegetables. Stir in rice and seasonings. Turn into greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Cover. Bake 25 minutes or more at 350 degrees. Uncover and top with noodles. Bake 5 minutes or more. Serves 6. |
