MC C.'S CLAM SAUCE 
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/3 c. olive oil
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 sm. can tomato paste
2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams
2 sprigs chopped parsley
4-5 drops Tabasco sauce
4-5 chopped mushrooms
Salt and pepper

Simmer garlic in olive oil until it turns slightly yellow. Add all other ingredients and stir until mixture just comes to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for just a minute or two. Serve hot over pasta. Easily doubled.
