LAYERED SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE | |
2 c. chopped onions 2 cloves garlic 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1 lg. jar Ragu or Prego (I get the ones with mushrooms) 1 c. water 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 pkg. Creamette spaghetti, cooked and drained 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese Cook onions, garlic and ground beef until lightly browned. Stir into tomato sauce, water and seasonings. Simmer for 25 minutes. Place 1/2 cooked spaghetti in 3 quart casserole, cover with half of sauce and then 1/2 cheese. Repeat second layer. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
