WHOLE WHEAT BREAD | |
4 c. whole wheat flour 1 pkg. y east 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 3/4 c. very warm water 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 egg white 1 tbsp. water 1 tsp. sesame seeds 1 tsp. sunflower seeds Mix 3 cups flour, yeast and salt. Add warm water and oil. Beat until soft dough forms. Stir in remaining flour and knead on lightly floured bread. Place in lightly oiled bowl and let rise, about 1 hour. Punch down dough and place in greased pan. Let rise again for about 20 minutes. Brush on egg/water and seeds. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. |
