ANGELA'S PINEAPPLE DESSERT 
1 pkg. vanilla wafers
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 lg. cool whip
1 (#2) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. chopped nuts, optional
1 tsp. vanilla

Crush wafers. Reserve 1/2 cup for top. Spread crumbs in 7 x 12 pan. Beat eggs then add sugar and butter, beat until creamy. Pour over crumbs. Fold pineapple into cool whip and add vanilla. Pour over custard and garnish with reserved crumbs. Chill 12 hours.
