MANDARIN SALAD 
1 c. walnuts
6 tbsp. sugar
2 med. heads Romaine, torn into bite size pieces
4 med. green onions, diced
2 (11 oz.) cans mandarin oranges, drained

DRESSING:

1/4 c. oil
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash ground pepper
Dash hot pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients for dressing in a jar with a tight lid. Shake well. Refrigerate until ready to use (3 days ahead).
