PUMPKIN BREAD 
3 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs, beaten
1 lb. can pumpkin
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. water
1 c. nuts (optional)

Combine sugar, oil and eggs. Add pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients and add to other mixture alternately with water. Add nuts, if desired. Grease and flour pan. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. This recipe makes 3 loaves 9x5 inch pan or it may be baked in 9x13 inch pan.

TOPPING:

1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Boil until thick and pour over bread.
