2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. marshmallows, cut up
1 c. cola drink
2 c. sugar
3 level tsp. cocoa
2 eggs, unbeaten

Sift together flour and sugar; stir in marshmallows and set aside. Put shortening, butter, cocoa, and cola in saucepan. Bring to a boil and heat just long enough to melt shortening and butter. Remove from heat and pour over flour mixture. Stir in buttermilk, soda, and eggs. Pour into greased tube pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. Remove from oven and cool in pan. Cake may crumble slightly. May be baked in sheet cake pan also.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. cola drink
3 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to a boil until butter melts. Remove from heat and add 1 box powdered sugar and 1/2 to 1 cup nuts, chopped. Spread on cake. Add a few drops of water, if is thickens.
