GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
2 lbs. potatoes, pared and sliced
6 slices crisp, crumbled bacon
1/3 c. bacon drippings
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. minced onion
1/2 tsp. paprika
Salt to taste

Cook potatoes in one inch boiling water until tender. Heat bacon drippings, vinegar, onion, 1/2 tsp. salt and paprika for dressing.

In a large bowl, combine potato slices, bacon and dressing. Toss lightly - not to break potatoes. Serve immediately. (6 servings)
