BEER CASSEROLE 
4 lb. good beef stew meat, cubed
1 can beer
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
1 tsp. thyme
2 c. hot water

Brown meat with flour, salt, pepper in Crisco. Put in large casserole dish with remaining ingredients.

Bake at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Serve over rice.
