GLAZED PECANS 
1 lb. pecan halves

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Place pecans in oven for a few minutes until warm.

Beat 2 egg whites until stiff. Gradually add 1 cup sugar and a pinch of salt. Fold pecans into this mixture to coat.

In jelly roll pan melt 1/2 cup butter; spread nuts in pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes, turning often.
