2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter
2 egg yolks, beaten
3 tbsp. thick sweet cream
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
Vanilla wafers

Cream sugar and butter, add egg yolks. Mix well. Add cream and pineapple. Mix together well. Add 1 cup ground or chopped nuts. Then layer with vanilla wafers using wafers first, three layers each, with mixture on top.

Top with whipped cream when served. It is better to make this the day before serving.
