MEXICAN WEDDING DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter
4 oz. cream cheese
2 sm. French vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. powdered sugar
3 c. Cool Whip

1st Layer: Melt butter in 9 x 13 pan. Mix in flour and 1 cup nuts, press in pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees - cool 1 hour.

2nd Layer: Mix powdered sugar and cream cheese, fold in 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip. Spread over first layer.

3rd Layer: 2 packages pudding mixed according to directions on box. Pour over 2nd layer.

4th Layer: Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts.

Easy to make. Looks elegant. (I use a glass 9x13 and you can see the layers.) Tastes amazing. I've taken it to church events several times and am always asked for the recipe. It is rather rich, so I cut the dessert into small squares.
