CHERRY DELIGHT 
1 c. flour
1 c. finely chopped nuts
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter

Melt butter and mix together. Mash into 9"x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Beat 1 cup sugar and 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese. Add 2 or 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until it is blended. Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (don't overbake), just until mixture is set. Let cool and then add 2 cans cherry or 2 cans blueberry pie filling over top. Add 1 teaspoon almond extract to the cherry or a little lemon juice to the blueberry pie filling before spreading.
