SALISBURY STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
2 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried onion
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water

Combine the first 8 ingredients. Form mixture into large, plump patties. Brown in butter, in large frying pan. Pour off grease. Pour soup and can of water over patties and simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
