BROCCOLI - RICE CASSEROLE | |
1/3 c. butter 1/4 c. chopped onions 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 c. Velveeta cheese 1 sm. box minute rice (2 c.) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 box frozen chopped broccoli 1 can cream of chicken soup Saute butter and onion. Add salt, milk and cheese. After cheese melts add rice, mushroom soup and chopped broccoli. Mix well and place in baking dish. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Add chicken soup with other soup. While baking cover dish with foil until last 5-10 minutes. If using a glass dish cut temperature down to 325 degrees to prevent bottom from burning. If making double batch use a 2 quart baking dish and a 1 quart dish to keep from boiling over. |
