BROCCOLI SOUP 
1 1/2 c. chopped broccoli or 10 oz. frozen pkg.
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Dash of ground thyme
1/4 c. grated Swiss cheese

Put vegetables and broth in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook until vegetables are tender. Mix milk, cornstarch, salt, pepper and thyme. Add to vegetable mixture. Cook until soup is lightly thickened and mixture begins to boil. Remove from heat. Add cheese, stir until melted.
