GROUND BEEF SUPREME 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 1/3 sticks butter
1 sm. pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix
1 1/3 c. hot water
1 can cream of celery or mushroom or chicken soup

Brown meat with onion and celery. Blend butter, stuffing and water. In a 2 quart casserole, layer the meat mixture with stuffing - 1/2 meat, all stuffing, remaining 1/2 meat. Blend 1/4 cup water with soup and pour over casserole. Sprinkle top with grated cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
