GROUND BEEF CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef or round
4 carrots, sliced
1/2 sm. cabbage, coarsely shredded
2 stalks (ribs) celery
1 c. tomato juice

Cook beef and drain. Add vegetables and tomato juice. Cook top of the stove or in the oven until done. Add more juice if necessary to keep from sticking. Season with garlic salt or powder and bay leaf. Remove bay leaf before serving.
