RAISIN HONEY POUND CAKE 
1 c. raisins
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. (1/2 lb.) butter
1 c. honey
4 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
3/4 c. chopped walnut meats

Rinse raisins, drain, dry on a towel and slice or chop fine. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream butter with honey until fluffy. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients and beat well. Add flavoring, raisins and nuts and mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake in slow oven (300 degrees) about 2 hours. Makes one 5 1/2 x 10 x 3 inch cake.
