CHINESE CHICKEN WINGS | |
1/2 c. soy sauce (Kikkoman) 1 garlic clove, minced 1 whole lemon, unpeeled and thinly sliced 3 tbsp. dry sherry 2 tbsp. honey (I use more - about 1/4 c.) 1/2 tsp. sesame oil Sesame seeds After separating wing sections, place wings on wire rack and place rack on broiling pan and bake for 1 hour. You may also French fry wings; fry 5 to 6 wings at a time. Fry wings until wings are golden. Allow wings to drain on paper towel. In bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, lemon slices, sesame oil, and sherry together. Place wings in large, deep fry pan or large wok. Pour soy sauce mixture over wings and cover with lid and cook until wings are tender and sauce is nearly gone. Add honey and sesame seeds and stir to coat wings thoroughly. Keep wings warm when serving. |
