KINDERGARTEN APPLESAUCE | |
Wash and quarter apples. In kindergarten we use an apple slicer to cut them. Put them in a heavy pot and add enough water to keep from burning. Cook until soft. Put through a food mill or coarse strainer. If you do not have a strainer or food mill, then peel the apples before you cook them. Add sugar to taste. Stir until the sugar melts completely. You can also add some cinnamon if you like. It works well to use 2 or more kinds of apples for this. |
