HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
1/2 lb. bacon 3/4 c. chopped onion 3 tbsp. flour 3 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed 3/4 c. cider vinegar 1 1/2 c. water 6 c. sliced cooked potatoes Fry bacon until brown and crisp. Remove bacon from pan. Saute onion in 1/3 bacon drippings until tender. Add flour, sugar, salt, and celery seed. Stir in vinegar and water, cook until thick. Combine bacon and potatoes and put into 3 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through. |
