MANDARIN SALAD 
1/2 c. sliced almonds
mandarin dressing (see below)
1/2 med. head iceberg lettuce
1/2 med. bunch romaine
4 med. stalks celery, chopped
4 green onions with tops, thinly sliced
11 oz. can mandarin orange segments, drained

Prepare mandarin dressing. Tear lettuce and romaine into bite-size pieces; toss with dressing, celery, onions, orange segments and almonds.

Mandarin Dressing:
1/2 c. vegetable oil
4 tbsp. sugar
4 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. snipped parsley (I use flakes)
1 tsp. salt (optional)
dash of pepper
2 dashes of red pepper sauce

Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar. You can make this a day ahead.
