1/2 lb. butter (or substitute)
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract

(Mrs. Passano always had these good cookies to offer family and guests.

Combine ingredients and roll into 3 rolls about 2 inches in width (in wax paper).
