MICROWAVE LASAGNA | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. Ricotta cheese 1 egg 1/2 tsp. pepper 9 lasagna noodles, uncooked 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese Set microwave power select at high. In a large glass bowl, crumble ground beef. Heat 2 to 3 minutes or until beef is browned, stirring once; drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce and water. Meanwhile, combine Ricotta cheese, egg, and pepper. In an oblong baking dish, spoon 1/2 cup sauce; alternately layer noodles, egg mixture, Mozzarella cheese, and sauce, forming 3 layers. Heat, covered, 8 minutes at high. Set power select at medium-low. Heat, covered, for 30 to 32 minutes or until noodles are tender. If necessary, shield end of dish with foil, during the last 10 minutes of heating time. Top with Parmesan cheese. Let stand, covered, for 15 minutes before serving. |
