ST. PAUL'S RICE | |
1 lb. hot sausage meat 4 1/2 c. boiling water 1/2 c. raw rice 2 pkg. Lipton's chicken noodle soup 1 lg. green pepper, diced 1 lg. Bermuda onion, diced 1 c. finely sliced celery 1 pkg. slivered almonds Paprika Parsley Brown sausage slowly in large skillet. Pour off grease. Bring water to boil and add rice and soup. Boil exactly 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Do not drain. In skillet add to drained sausage meat, rice and soup mixture, green peppers, onions and celery. Put mixture into greased casserole and sprinkle paprika, parsley and almonds over top. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
