BUTTERED SAUTEED CHICKEN 
1 med. size fryer
Season salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
3/4 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. water

Cut chicken into serving pieces. Season to satisfaction. Coat chicken with flour. Place in skillet with butter and let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water and simmer for 25 minutes more. Cover with lid. Start at medium-high temperature and reduce heat when almost done.
