BANANA CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. buttermilk
3 bananas, mashed

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk, add bananas, nuts and vanilla. Pour in 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 or 35 minutes. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1/2 stick butter
1 c. chopped nuts
1 box powdered sugar
2 very ripe bananas

Spread on cake.
