SOY GINGER MARINADE 
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup medium dry sherry
3 cloves garlic, mashed to paste
1 tsp. ginger root, peeled and grated

In a stainless steel, combine ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring. Simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool in pan. Reserve 1/3 cup of marinade for basting.

Transfer the marinade to a glass dish or Ziploc bag and use to marinate pork chops or chicken. Keep marinating meat under refrigeration for 4 hours or more. Discard used marinade.

Grill meat and baste often using reserved marinade.

This recipe makes enough marinade for about 4 pork chops.
