MARINADE FOR FISH 
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 to 2 cloves crushed garlic, sliced ginger or powder
Grated rind from 1 lemon or lime

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and marinate at least 1 hour.

It's a big difference when you make your own marinade. I have a friend that says "when a recipe calls for butter, Marian makes her own". That's not so, but I do like to use the best ingredients possible, and when you make your own, you know it's good.
