HOLIDAY SUGAR COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Combine butter and sugars; beat until fluffy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into batter. Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours.

Roll out about 1/3 of the dough to 1/8 inch thickness on lightly floured board. Cut into desired shapes. Bake at 375 degrees on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes, or until done. Cool. Decorate as desired. Makes 7 dozen cookies.
