CREAMY CARROT NUT SALAD | |
1 pkg. (6 oz.) orange flavored gelatin 1 1/2 c. hot water 3/4 c. dairy sour cream & 1/4 c. Miracle Whip 1 can (13 1/2 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained 2 c. grated carrots (may use less carrots & substitute broccoli heads or whatever else to make it pretty) 1/2 c. nuts Stir together gelatin with hot water and let cool, about 15 minutes. Add gelatin mixture slowly to sour cream. Chill until nearly set, about 1 hour in refrigerator; then add pineapple, carrots, nuts and etc. Chill until firm (8 servings). |
