CRUNCHY BROCCOLI SALAD 
1 bunch broccoli, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped (optional)
1/4 c. salted sunflower seeds
5-6 strips crisp bacon
1/2 c. golden raisins

Wash broccoli. Cut off stalks. Break into flowerets. If desired, peel stalks and chop inner part. Add onion, seeds, raisins and bacon. Fold in dressing.

DRESSING:

1 1/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. red wine vinegar

NOTE: I only use about half this amount for my own taste.
