SUNDAY SUPPER | |
1 pkg. linguini (8 oz.) 1 lb. ground chuck 2 tbsp. olive or salad oil 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 onion, chopped 2 tbsp. chopped parsley 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 3 tbsp. tomato paste 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese 1 c. cottage cheese 3 tbsp. sour cream 3 tbsp. chipped chives Cook linguini according to package directions. Drain. Saute chuck in oil until lightly browned. Add mushrooms with their juice, onion, parsley, tomato sauce, tomato paste and seasoning. Simmer 15 minutes. Mix cheeses with sour cream and chives. Salt to taste. Butter 3 quart casserole. Place half of linguini in casserole. Top with cheese mixture, then remaining linguini. Pour meat mixture over. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated through. |
