STRAWBERRY DESSERT | |
1 pkg. (4 serving) strawberry gelatin 1 c. boiling water 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, nearly thawed 1/2 of an angel food cake 1 pkg. (4 serving) instant vanilla pudding 1 c. cold milk 1 pt. vanilla ice cream Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in sliced strawberries. Pull apart cake half in small pieces; put in 9x13 cake pan. Pour strawberry mixture over cake pieces and put in refrigerator. Mix together pudding and milk with electric mixer. Add ice cream. Cream and whip until thickened. Pour pudding mixture over gelatin mixture after it is thoroughly set. Refrigerate again for 5-6 hours or overnight. Sugar-free Jello and pudding, skim milk and ice milk can be used successfully, making a good low calorie dessert. |
