Prepare your favorite recipe for pancakes. Slice hot dogs and set aside. Pour batter onto hot, greased griddle, spreading batter evenly. Quickly press hot dog slices into batter about 1 inch apart. Turn when first side is brown. Brown 2nd side as much as possible without burning hot dogs.

Serve two pancakes at a time with "eggs-over-easy" in between. Top with butter and syrup or strawberry jam.
