SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
3 cups chopped apples
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
pinch of salt

Mix all ingredients together except apples; stir until well mixed. Add apples and mix gently until evenly coated.

Topping:

1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter

Mix together and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375° for 1 hour.

Makes one 9-inch pie.
