FUDGE BATTER PUDDING 
BATTER:

2 tbsp. melted butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c.flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk

Add sugar to melted butter, mix well, add vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa. Add with milk, mixing into smooth batter. (1/2 cup of chopped nuts can be added, if desired).

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
1 2/3 c. boiling water

Mix sugar, cocoa and salt, pour boiling water into dry ingredients, stirring until well mixed. Pour sauce into large open baking dish. Drop batter by spoonfuls into sauce. Bake at 350 degrees or until cake is done, about 30 minutes. Serve warm by removing squares of cake with spatula, turning upside down, spoon sauce over.
