MEATBALLS & LIMA BEANS 
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen lima beans
2 slices bread
1/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 clove garlic, mashed
1 lb. ground beef
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1 c. sour cream

Cook lima beans according to package directions. Meanwhile, soak the bread in milk for a few minutes, squeeze out excess. Beat egg slightly with 1 teaspoon salt and the pepper. Add garlic, then combine with ground beef and soaked bread. Roll meat mixture into balls the size of a walnut.

Brown meatballs in 1 tablespoon butter, transfer to medium-sized casserole. Pour the water into the pan to remove drippings and pour over meatballs. Mix drained lima beans with the other 3 tablespoons butter and remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt. Pour over meatballs, mix gently, then bake in a moderate slow oven, 325 degrees, for 20 minutes. Stir in sour cream and bake for 10 more minutes.
