BARBECUED SPARERIBS | |
4 lb. pork spareribs 2 medium onions, sliced 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (8 oz.) can crushed tomatoes 1 (4 oz.) can tomato paste 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3/4 c. water 2 tbsp. vinegar 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp. cayenne 1 tsp. chili powder Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange spareribs in large baking dish. Add onions and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over spareribs. Cover and bake in medium oven about 1 1/2 hours, basting frequently. Remove cover and bake 20 minutes longer. Can also be made with beef spareribs. |
