SALMON PATTIES 
1 can salmon, undrained
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Mix all ingredients, stirring well. Shape mixture into patties and fry in hot (375 degrees) until brown. Drain on paper towels. Makes about 8 patties. Mixture may be dropped into oil by tablespoonful if desired.
