COMPANY STEW | |
2 lbs. stew meat, cut into bite size pieces 4 med. onions, cut in chunks 4 to 5 stalks celery, chopped 5 carrots, cut in chunks 2 (8 oz.) cans sliced water chestnuts, drained 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 (16 oz.) can green beans, can use fresh 1 (22 oz.) can tomatoes 1 c. Burgundy wine 2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. brown sugar 5 tbsp. tapioca Combine all ingredients in a roaster pan with a tight fitting lid. Bake at 325 degrees for 4 to 5 hours. DO NOT STIR. 6 servings. |
