FIG STRAWBERRY PRESERVES 
3 c. mashed figs, very ripe
1 pkg. (6 oz.) strawberry Jello
3 c. sugar

Mix ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to simmer; continue cooking for 10 minutes. Pour into jars. Makes about 2 1/2 pints preserves.
