COUNTRY FRIED STEAK 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. zest or accent
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. dry milk

Mix all ingredients well, using hands. Mix up another mixture of flour and dry milk (1/2 cup flour and 2 tablespoons milk). Spread some on rolling board, roll meat mixture onto board, sprinkle with flour mixture and roll with rolling pin to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into shapes for steaks and fry in hot fat (but not smoking hot) until just brown. DO NOT OVER COOK. Remove from pan and make a thin gravy. Return meat to pan and simmer until meat is done.
