1 c. smooth peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients in medium bowl; mix well. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Press each ball with fork in crisscross design. Preheat oven to 325°F.

Bake for 12 minutes.

Yield: 4 dozen cookies.
