STEAK BROIL | |
1 to 1 1/2 inch thick top round steak 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. sherry cooking wine 1 finely minced clove garlic 1/8 tsp. powdered ginger Salt and pepper Oil To make a thicker and more flavorful taste, you might add 1 package of Adolph's marinade. Combine sauces, oil, sherry, garlic, and ginger. Coat both sides of steaks with mixture. Let stand 1/2 hour before broiling (or if preferred let marinate overnight. Preheat broiler. Place steak on rack with surface of meat about 4 inches from heat and broil for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Turn steak with tongs to prevent juices from escaping. Broil another 5 to 6 minutes. Remove steak and carve diagonally across grain in very thin slices. |
