RHUBARB SURPRISE PIE | |
1 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. butter 1 egg, beaten 2 tbsp. milk FILLING: 3 c. diced raw rhubarb 1 (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin 1/2 c. unsifted flour 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. melted butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Sift together 1 cup flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter. Add egg and milk; mix. Press into a greased 9 inch pie plate. Arrange rhubarb in pie crust. Sprinkle with Jello. Combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. |
