“CRANBERRY NUT LOAF” IS IN:

CRANBERRY NUT LOAF 
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg, well beaten
juice of 1 orange; add to water to make 1 cup
1 cup cranberries, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/2 teaspoon each flour and sugar, for sprinkling cranberries

Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stirring to mix well. Add beaten egg and other liquids. Combine 1/2 teaspoon each of flour and sugar (use powdered sugar if you have it) .

Sprinkle cranberries with the flour/sugar mixture, to coat. Add to batter; stir in chopped nuts.

Bake in a preheated 350°F degree oven in a loaf pan for about 1 hour, or until loaf tests done.
