CHINESE COLE SLAW | |
1 bag slaw mix or 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded 1/2 c. slivered almonds 2 tbsp. sesame seeds 1/2 c. vinegar 1 c. sugar 1/4 c. oil 1 pkg. Ramen oriental noodles 1 tbsp. onion 1 tbsp. butter Mix oil, vinegar, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Remove from heat, and add flavor packet from noodles. Toast almonds and sesame seeds in a small skillet in 1 Tbsp. butter. Cool and add to slaw. Break up noodles, and add to slaw along with dressing just before serving. |
